Job Description
Location: Coventry and Leamington Spa
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Hours: Permanent, Monday-Friday (36.5 hours per week)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced trust tax and accounts administrator to support our Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and Estates Team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparing trust, estate, and possibly some personal tax returns,
- Preparing trust and estate accounts,
- Calculating tax liabilities,
- Corresponding with colleagues, clients, and third parties, to obtain information and notify of liabilities, etc.
- Assisting with trust registrations and ongoing compliance requirements,
- Providing support with tax planning work, including note taking at meetings,
- Coordinating HMRC correspondence and queries,
- Managing deadlines, filings, and compliance calendars,
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients, including AML checks
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven experience in preparing trust and estate tax returns (and ideally accounts), either with HMRC or in a tax advisory or accountancy/legal practice environment,
- Strong understanding of UK tax compliance around trusts,
- Good working knowledge of Iris tax software would be an advantage,
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills,
- Ability to work independently,
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Qualified/Part Qualified TEP
